I found this box of parts at the thrift today. I'm mainly wondering if any will work with my 500A Rocketeer, especially the walking foot. I think most are for later slant shank Singers, but will they fit the 500? Thanks!
I've been playing with my new Rocketeer, and I have a question about the tension. The pictures are two layers of muslin, size 12 needle, upper tension set at 4. Maroon on top, orange in the bobbin. Does it look ok or should I change something? Thank you!
I got a Rocketeer today, and can't keep my hands off of it! I oiled it up and it's running really smoothly. I was trying out the needle position lever, and I don't think it's working quite right. It seems like it should move farther to the left than it does. I have a video showing how it's working. Any idea how to fix it, or is it off to the shop for a tune-up? Thanks!

I just got a Rocketeer, and I'm looking to replace the foot pedal or controller with a modern one. I just don't like the button on this vintage style. I found a whole pedal and cord unit online, but it's expensive. Can I get a cheaper pedal and wire it to my existing power cord? I don't know what's compatible. Thanks so much, I'm so excited to get her all oiled up and running smoothly again!
I want to try liquid core dice. I've read up on them, and have my glass orbs all ready to go. How much of the core mixture do you liquid core makers prepare for a set? I don't want to mix way too much and have a lot of waste. Thanks, I'm leaning so much here!!
I've worked with resin before, but these are my very first dice, fresh from the mold. They're far from great, but better than i thought they'd be. I have a vacuum chamber, but no pressure pot (or $ for one right now). Any advice on how to reduce bubbles? The d6 is quite good, but the d12 and d20 are...not. I guess i didn't expect such variation in the same batch. Any advice is appreciated, and thanks for all the inspiration in this group!
