Virpil R1-Falcon vs Thrustmaster TPR

Hi,

As I'm in the market to upgrade from my T-Flight pedals, I was considering either buying the Virpil R-Falcon/Legend (dampened version), or a used set of Thrstmaster TPRs.

Both would be around the same price around here

I am mostly in Militarysim and Space sim, but I would like to have a Setup I can use to train for GA, as someday down the line I want to get at least a glider, or even a motorized license.

Thanks for the help.

Edit: I don't have a Simrig, so they would be under the desk. At most mounted to a woodpanel so that it can's slide to far back against the wall.

VKB Gladiator vs. WinCtrl ViperAce(EX) flightstick for later upgrade to FFBeast

I want to upgrade from my T16000M stick. And the WinCtrl sale is as good a time as any to consider this.

Now there are two possibilities for me.

Either the Gladiator or the ViperAce(EX)

The price difference is negligible in this case (20€)

(So please don't recommend to get the VKB gunfighter, as I would loooove to do that, but it's not in my budget.)

I plan on building my own FFBeast down the line and would like to continue using the grip I buy now.

So the question is twofold:

  1. Which of the two sticks will give me the better flight experience and reliability.

  1. Which of the two can handle the forces of the FFBeast?

(I'm a bit worried, that the plastic grip of the gladiator will break on me when mounting it to a high torque FFBeast)

I'm also specifically NOT asking about the combo, as I'll be buying a STECS regardless and atill have some rudder pedals (my old Thrustmasters t-flights).

Thanks for the help!
