Which area to prioritize!

Hi! Off the bat, we have done our research on things to do, the wander log is packed. We’re staying in the Warehouse District and definitely checking out the French Quarter.

However, there is SOO MUCH we want to do that are spread amongst multiple areas, where I am worried we are underestimating the amount of time its going to take to explore. We are only here 3 days. Here for our anniversary, we are 30/28 y/o and we like to drink, eat, music (r&b/rap/not active jazz listeners but down to experience) and maybe local art.

Areas: Midtown, Uptown, Magazine St., Jackson Sq., and Garden District

How much time do each of these areas need? Which are a must visit for our first trip and which can be saved for another time?

Ima eat like Rasputia…

My husband and I (30/28 y/o) are finally breaking free from the grasps of a regular shmegular 80/20 diet and coming to New Orleans on Saturday to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and EAT! We are driving from Tennessee. Staying at our hotel (Virgin Hotel New Orleans). Here’s what I got planned for us :-)

Saturday: Go to Turkey & Wolf (around 1) for the bologna or collard green sandwich. Walk around French Market. We have a reservation at Willie Mae’s for 5:30 pm. Then drink around the french quarter. Probably find that Muffuletto sandwich as a late drunk meal, Verti Marte perhaps?

Sunday: Brennan’s reservation at 10:45 am. Drive to sculpture garden. Then get po’boy from Parkway Bakery. Get a sweet treat from Angelo Brocato. Walk around, get drinks, stop at Neyow’s Creole Cafe for hush puppies. Then have dinner at Clesi’s seafood boil… no it’s not too much food.

Monday: Have breakfast at our hotel (included, save money, Live Más). Lunch at Domilise’s. Stop at Cafe du Monde on the way back home.

I KNOW its a lot, you should see my wanderlog…
But trust, we aren’t sticklers on abiding by every detail. We use it as a framework and follow our own groove in the moment.

Any feedback will be gobbled up! Appreciate it!

Trainings to be a consultant?

Hi! I’m an LCSW that works for a healthcare company. My job is mainly a “consultant” for the team. I am the only LCSW hired, my coworkers come to me when a member discloses an issue relating to mental health and/or substance abuse and I either speak with the member or coach the team member on how to better engage.

Ive also been tasked to lead workshops where I train the team on how to engage members. They’re task is to talk to members about mental health/ behavioral health challenges that impact their ability to make better lifestyle changes or seek treatment (ex. Someone on dialysis struggling with alcoholism, talking to them about treatment)

So my question/ ask: what are some trainings that can help me be a better leader/ facilitator? I found many trainings through Psychwire, Therapy Wisdom, Feeling Good Institute but hoping to narrow my search to specific courses. Thank you in advance!
