Mandatory Speed Limiters as an enforcement consequence
Has it been explored in any real way to have a punishment for speeding/reckless driving/impaired driving to have on top of the current slap on the wrists, A speed limiter on cars that will use the vehicle’s GPS to only allow them to do the speed limit exactly on the road it is currently on? Seems like something that could be added on as a longer term punishment for repeat offenders that would be completely possible to do while also not completely alienating a person from our car-dependent society.
EDIT: To those saying why stop at speeders let's put it on all cars. Sure, let's do that. Was just trying to be a little realistic because the chances of having the political power to enforce a hard limiter on all cars is near zero.
