Canyonlands/Arches Dispersed Camping
Hi, all!
I am planning on doing a trip in early June, and below is most of my itinerary (still planning):
Day 1:
Druid Arch Trail / Chesler Park Loop (14.3 mi, 2614 ft)
Day 2:
Mesa Arch Trail (sunrise, 0.6 mi)
Shafer Trail (18.2 mi, Onyx)
Upheaval Dome Trail (1.3 mi, 229 ft)
White Rim Overlook Trail (1.8 mi, 173 ft)
Grand View Point Trail (sunset, 1.9 mi, 164 ft)
Day 3:
Devil’s Garden Trail (8.1 mi, 1154 ft)
Dead Horse Point State Park
Day 4:
Delicate Arch Trail (3.1 mi, 629 ft)
Windows Loop and Turret Arch Trail (1.1 mi, 134 ft)
While this is definitely subject to change, I was curious if anyone knew of good BLM dispersed camping spots at or around these locations since there isn't anything to book anymore. Any suggestions are welcome. I am kind of going for that nomad vibe of a trip.
