“Spawning rares”?
Does anyone know if “softing” or something similar is back?
I’ve noticed a few people on the server I play on recently with really rare usernames who suddenly have a lot of old dia packs, sometimes even at a pretty low level.
I’ve also heard a few people accusing others that they’re “spawning dia packs” or paying someone to do it.
Apparently there’s also some kind of tool being used to get rare/one-word usernames (like “doll”, “vampire”, etc.) by getting into old inactive accounts that already have them.
I’m not asking for a tutorial or anything, since I assume something like this would be heavily gatekept anyway 😭 I’m just genuinely curious whether any of this is actually true or if there’s another explanation.
There’s one person in particular who I’m pretty sure never really trades anymore, suddenly sold all of their valuable stuff, and now somehow has basically every old dia pack in their exact hex colours. (And all the users in their BFF list as well) It just seems really weird to me lol
Just curious if anyone else has noticed this or knows what’s going on 👀
(Cus I only heard about spawning rares on msp1 not msp2…)
