I'm planning to join first year at JECRC Foundation/SKIT (Sitapura). My home is near Jhotwara.
I wanted to ask:
- What are the usual class timings for first-year students? What time do classes usually end?
- Is it better to use the college bus or commute on my own vehicle?
Which colleges can I realistically get in Round 1, 2, or upward movement?
Should I keep TFWS in my choices, and what preference order would you recommend?
Hey everyone, I really need some honest guidance regarding colleges 😭
My JEE Main percentile is 77.9%ile and I scored 83% in boards. I’m from Rajasthan and I want to pursue CSE from a college with decent placements and good coding culture.
The problem is that for the past 1 month, I’ve been continuously searching about colleges — watching YouTube videos, reading Quora/Reddit reviews, checking placements, fees, campus life etc. — but now I’m more confused than before. Every college has mixed reviews and I genuinely can’t figure out what’s actually worth joining.
I didn’t give many private college exams because I was fully focused on JEE.
Didn’t give MET properly, so probably no Manipal.
Thapar mein CSE milna almost impossible lag raha hai at my percentile.
BITS bhi realistically mushkil lag raha hai.
Now I seriously don’t know what options I have left.
My priorities are:
CSE branch
Good placements/package
Decent or good coding culture
Safe & decent campus life
College worth the fees
I’m okay with private colleges too, but I want REALISTIC and HONEST reviews — not just marketing.
Can someone please suggest:
🔸Colleges I can still get with my score
🔸Whether I should compromise on branch or college
🔸Which colleges are actually worth joining at this level
🔸Any underrated colleges with decent placements
