So currently certified VT lvl II and UT lvl II (shearwave, bond, and thickness) under navsea. Soon to be asnt PAUT lvl II. Just curious as to if anybody has worked both sides and which is preferable due to salary, working conditions, etc. I don't travel, all manual scans (currently), base salary 97k with practically unlimited overtime. Do I have it great or is there better out there? I've been diving deep into this reddit and information is all over the place haha.
