Am i being over charged
I applied for a Niva Bupa health insurance policy for my mother who has ckd with a ₹10 lakh sum insured.
The official online quote showed ₹27,339 (Zero GST). After speaking to customer care, they sent me a payment link to transactions.nivabupa.com, and I ended up paying ₹27,339 and there is also another link with 22,442 with my mother's name in their redirected website.
When I questioned the difference, one representative mentioned it was because of OPD. Another representative gave a different explanation.
The payment appears to have gone to Niva Bupa, so I'm not worried about the payment itself. My concern is:
Has anyone else experienced a premium being higher than the online quote?
Did Niva Bupa later refund the difference if it was an error?
Could the customer care representative have added an optional add-on without clearly explaining it?
