Need Advise on Career path !! Feel Confused or Fustrated ?
24M from a middle-class family. Completed engineering from a Tier-2 college where honestly we never had proper guidance about JEE, entrance exams, career planning, etc. During school days, most of us just went with the flow without knowing what opportunities even existed.
After graduation, through a lot of struggles and self-learning, I managed to get into one of the biggest MNCs as a trainee engineer. Worked there for around 1.7 years and recently got an opportunity in one of my dream companies with a decent salary. Not extremely high, but good enough for my background.
But the problem is… I still don’t feel settled or satisfied.
Every few weeks I start hustling again — sometimes preparing for CAT, sometimes thinking about UPSC, sometimes dreaming about starting a business. I study for 2–3 days with full motivation and then suddenly feel lost or bored again. My mind is always running. Even at night I keep thinking about what I should do next in life.
I always feel like I’m meant to achieve something bigger, but I genuinely don’t know which path is right for me. Corporate career? MBA? UPSC? Business?
As a person, I’m very extroverted and love discussing ideas and talking with people, but mentally I feel confused and restless most of the time.
Anyone else going through this phase in their 20s?
