Might get a Great Pyrenees and birdie collie mix, any tips?

He’s about 30-40 pounds currently at 4 months old, he’s relatively calm and trainable from what the shelter says. Stuff like crate sizes spans info on those type of things help a ton! I’ll a first time big dog owner (if I do get him) his name is Outlaw :3

Lil sis is stressing me out cuz I might get a service dog

She has been whining and crying because it’s not fair that I’m getting a service dog (for psychiatric, I can tell more if wanted) she says she needs one cuz “we dont know if she has it” by it she means a disability. She also wants to name mine because “Outlaw is an ugly name”. She’s also pissed that it can’t play with her while on duty. I have level two autism and struggle greatly because of it due to: meltdowns, elopement, and more. And we’ve been considering this for a while. I just feel like she shouldn’t be entitled to anything about Outlaw (the possible dog). We probably will visit Outlaw soon so I’ll probably just keep posting on my profile. She has no diagnosis of anything and has not struggled at all, how can I explain all of this to her? I need more advice on how to start training and generally, outlaw his four months old and might come home this week. I’m in Texas, I’m a minor, and a first time handler/owner. I will be getting help form a professional and doing basic training on my own.

Any tips are appreciated in general :3 a list of basic essentials could help!
