Show me a picture of Penguin black thick classic with no creases

Show me a picture of penguin black thick classic with no creases or spine breakage. Reason I'm asking this is because it's very rare to see Penguin books without creases. It should obviously be a read book. Also tell me how u avoided doing that.

It would be kind of you if u share the pictures of this copy. Also tell me how durable the copy is. How's the binding? Etc

Suggest me editions of Les Mis with Norman Denny Translation.

I think i am willing to read the Norman Denny translation as I liked it more compared to others so can anyone suggest the editions with the same translation. It would be even better if u provide the link for the same.

Thoughts on Wordsworth Classics Editions?

Share your thoughts on the same. These editions in general look fabulous. But I would love to know how durable they are. Is their binding good enough? Does the spine break easily? Are they worth collecting?

Also tell me the must buy copies of the same edition.

Why do I keep buying more books?

I don't know why I can't stop buying books. Even after buying a certain book that i wanted to buy for so long i still end up craving for more book buying and eventually even end up buying it.

Does anyone else go through this problem?

How do you think i can stop this bad habit of mine. Or should I even stop to begin with.

Hey everyone,

I’m curious about reading speeds and habits. On average, how many pages do you typically read in an hour?

Feel free to share:

The type of material (novels, non-fiction, textbooks, etc.)

Whether you’re a casual reader or more experienced

If your speed changes based on difficulty or focus

Just trying to get a realistic sense of what’s “normal.” Thanks in advance!

What are your thoughts on the above publisher. Do they sell unabridged versions or not? Are their editions durable? Also Who's the translator usually in their editions?

I’m in the mood to dive into a big, dense classic—something I can really get lost in for a while. The kind of book that feels like a whole world, not just a story.

I don’t mind slow pacing as long as it pays off, and I’m okay with challenging language too. Just don’t want something that’s only famous for being long 😅

What are your go-to “thick classics” that are genuinely worth the commitment?

PS-If your book is already mentioned in comments and vote up the same comment that will help me know the one with most votes.
