This morning, HDFC sent a WhatsApp message informing to avail HDFC credit card benefits and after opening that chat, I got a notification to check the limit enhancement option. And yep, got a credit limit increase!

Earlier it was 9.2 L and after limit enhancement, it changed by 1 L to 10.2 L!

I didn't reach out to them for credit increase. I have been holding DCB Metal for 1.5 years.

Started in 2022 with Millennia (70k limit) > Regalia Gold > DCB Metal

Last year usage - 12-13 L+

My theory: With longer time association, HDFC rewards usage.
