Pan That Palette 2026 - Update 6

Hi everyone, it's time to have our sixth check in for Pan That Palette 2026!

If you have forgotten the rules of this project, here is a repost of the rules!

Pan That Palette is a challenge where you select a palette to work on throughout the year. You can choose an eyeshadow palette, a face palette, a lip palette, or if you want a challenge, more than one palette (e.g a face palette and an eyeshadow palette). You can either challenge yourself to hit pan on every shade, completely pan every shade (hence "pan that palette"), or make it your goal to use it regularly (e.g. X times per month).

This project will last from today to the end of the year. I will be posting most of my updates on the second day of the month, except for the intro, which was posted on January 3rd, and the finale, which will either be posted on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.

I am looking forward to hearing what progress you have made on your chosen palette(s) over the month of June!

Update of continuous project pan

Six months ago, I officially started my continuous project pan on this subreddit. Over the past months I have used up some products and destashed others. I have also decided to add makeup and fragrance to the project pan. Apologies for the potato quality photos (especially the third image), it took me ages to find the right angle to take them because the lighting was not great. Here are my products:

Photo 1 - Skincare

Nivea Creme: I use this as the second part of double cleansing and as a nighttime moisturiser. I have already hit pan on this. I personally find this too heavy for me on its own, but works well with face oils or serums.

1x Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment: My current panning lipbalm. My first tube went bad on me so I had to start using another one. I also plan on using it as a hand cream as my associate teacher for my first Section used this as a hand cream.

Lipidol Cleansing Oil: This is my current oil cleanser. I am liking it as it is way better than the makeup wipes I used over the past few years.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Make-Up Remover: This has been my Holy Grail eye makeup remover since I was young. I want to find a dupe soon because I want to be more conscious in my beauty purchases.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Alcohol-Free Toner: I am currently putting this on the backburner because I am focusing on a toner sample. I like this, but I probably will not repurchase for the same reason why I am searching for a dupe for my eye makeup remover.

Lacura Nourishing Lip Balm Intensive Care/Nutriente Lip Balm Terapia Intensiva. This will be my panning lip balm once I use up my Lucas' Pawpaw ointment tube.

Frankanlipbalm: A mixture of Blistex Intensive Repair, Carmex and Mentholatum tinted lip balm. I have put this on the backburner because the current combination has too strong a scent for me. I will start using this again once I have added another lipbalm to the frankencombination.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Eye Cream: This is the only eye cream I own. I want to use this up before I purchase another eye cream.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil sample: This has only a little bit of product. I want to pan it because a. it is made of natural ingredients and b. the dropper is terrible. I am contemplating destashing it because of the horrid dropper.

Shiseido Revitalise Treatment Softener sample: This is my current panning toner. Despite being a sample, it is taking a while to use up.

Photo 2 - Body care and haircare

Dove Body Milk: My current panning body lotion. It is at a stage where I have to store it upside down in order to get product out of the bottle.

The Aromatherapy Co. Aroma Gardener Botanical Fig and Olive Hand Balm SPF 15. I plan on using it as a foot cream.

Dabur Amla Hair Oil: My current panning hair oil. I want to use this up because I have another hair oil waiting in the wings.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: My current panning dry shampoo. I am panning this for the same reason as the hair oil.

Photo 3 - Makeup and fragrance (Sorry for the potato quality photo)

Laura Price Brow Pencil: I want to use this up as I want to be rid of brow pencils.

Rimmel Extra Super Lash in Black: This used to be my Holy Grail mascara, however, I find it to be too messy for me now. Once I finish this, I intend to purchase a mascara from a different brand.

Rimmel Wonderwing Eyeliner: It's the only open liquid eyeliner I have, I need to use this up before it goes bad.

Nicka K. Makeup Sugar Coat: My eyeshadow Pan That Palette. I want to hit pan on the powder eyeshadows by the end of the year.

Australis Shimma Stick in Oasis: This is the only bronzer I own. I want to use this up as it is a cream product.

Essence Matt Touch Blush in Peach Me Up!: I want to start panning this as the packaging has broken (the hinge no longer works).

2x Mac Studio Fix Fluid samples: One is in the shade NC10, the other in the shade NW10. They should be easy to finish.

1x Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Tint sample in Fair. It's a shame the product is discontinued as I wanted to purchase it.

W7 Hide & Seek Conceal and Colour Correct Quad: This is my face Pan That Palette. I plan on destashing it at the end of the year as the packaging broke a couple of weeks ago (the hinge no longer works).

Mac Studio Fix Powder in NC20: I want to pan this because the packaging is faulty.

Maybelline Lipstick in Darling Pink: I only have a little bit of this left before I "hit tube". Once I have done so, I will depot it into a lip palette.

Designer Brands Moisturising Lipstick in Bordeaux Red: I have several red lipsticks. I need to use some up.

Sheglam Crystal Glaze Moisturising Lip Care in Strawberry Milk: This is the only Sheglam product I own and I want to be rid of it as soon as possible.

Chanel Gabrielle Eau de Parfum sample. Now that I have panned my previous fragrance sample, I can pan this one.

As I don't keep my empties once I have used products up, I will share my thoughts on what I have used up and what I have destashed.

Emptied:

2x no-name moisturiser/sunscreen hybrids: They were alright, but I prefer using seperate products for moisturiser and SPF. Also, they did not work well with my primer.

2x Pam's Normal and Combination Skin Facial Wipes: They were... meh. I am so glad I don't have to worry about having these in my stash anymore as they were there due to my parents mistaking them for Holy Grails... They were not!

1x Sesa Ayurvedic Hair Oil. This took me ages to use up as it has a strong fragrance. Once I use up the Amla hair oil, I have another bottle of this to pan.

Decluttered:

1x Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment: I had this when I went overseas last year. It ended up expiring on me a couple of months ago and started to make my lips itch, meaning it had to go.

Mislaid:

1x Sun Bum sunscreen lip balm in Coconut. I think I lost this at University. I probably would have decluttered it if I hadn't misplaced it as the scent was too strong for me.

I will post another update in a few months time.
