Can't decide between Giant Escape disc 2 vs Trek FX 2


Hi, I'm shopping for my first hybrid bike and can't decide between these two. They're essentially the same on paper (both have hydraulic brakes, 1x9 drivetrain, similar tires: 700x38mm giant vs 700x35mm on trek). One difference is that Trek doesn't come with quick release for the front wheel, which by itself is not a huge dealbreaker. I kinda prefer the slanted frame design on Trek more but thats honestly about it.
I'll be primarily using it for a 5-10 mile commute 3-4 days per week. Which one would you pick and are there any common issues i should know about? Thank you.
Trek is currently listed for $799. Giant is on sale for $675.
Edit: the giant website says there is an additional $75 charge for pick up and assembly. No additional charges for trek. So it effectively becomes $799 vs $750.
