I never thought I’d be one to post but my doctors are closed over the weekend and I’m at a loss on what to do, I was diagnosed with hypertension and put on ramipril, I’m a 24 year old female who has a history of mitral valve regurgitation (I’ve had surgery in the past for it) however my blood pressure readings are baffling me, when I am seated my blood pressure is perfect 117/69 with a heart rate of 73 yet when I stand up it shoots straight up to 190/109 with a pulse of 95, also keep having forceful palpitations, lightheadedness and nausea..has anyone ever experienced anything similar and if so what was it?
