Any specific ways you stay up to date with your ATPL KNO?

Passed all the ATPL exams and now in VFR phase. I notice that my ATPL knowledge starts degrading. I like to keep it current because this stuff resurfaces in checks, IR, type rating theory, interviews. I find it quite hard to start reading again as it is a lot of material. Anyone has a specific approach, like an app or cards, or just reading the books?

Passed ATPL theory 4 months ago and shocked how much I've already forgotten

Currently in the VFR phase. Grinded through all the ATPL exams, decent scores. Now 4 months later I sometimes just cannot answer basic airlaw or even meteo questions from FIs. It's a bit unsettling because this stuff resurfaces in checks, IR, type rating theory, interviews... and it's leaking away while I'm busy just flying and living.

Anyone else experience this? And for those further along how bad do you let it get before reopening the books? I find it quite hard to start reading again as it is a lot of material.
