I looked up a few posts for NYC engagement ring recommendations, and I liked Ken and Dana the best. However, the price is well over my $3-4,000 budget. The rings that I found myself liking from K&D are 5-6.5k+ for a 1.5-2ct platinum ring

Does anyone have other places they would recommend with designs similar to K&D's?

For example, I really love their Matilda and Mirabelle.
Paulette and Carissa are good too, but I would prefer the design of something like Matilda
