5 prompts that actually changed how I use AI (after testing 1000+)

Most viral prompts are overengineered garbage. After months of daily testing, these 5 actually stuck:

1. The "Explain Like I'm Hiring You" prompt
"Explain [concept] as if you're a consultant I'm paying $500/hour and I have 5 minutes."

Cuts the fluff instantly.

2. The Rubber Duck Debug
"I'll describe my problem. Don't solve it yet — just ask me questions until YOU fully understand it."

Forces you to think clearly. Often you solve it yourself mid-conversation.

3. The Anti-AI-Slop filter
"Write this without: 'dive into', 'crucial', 'landscape', 'let's explore', 'it's important to note', or any corporate buzzwords."

Your output instantly sounds human.

4. The "Steal Like an Artist" prompt
"Write this in the style of [specific author/creator], but about [your topic]."

Works scary well for finding your voice.

5. The Constraint Flip
"Give me the WORST possible advice for [goal]. Now reverse each point."

Breaks you out of generic advice loops.

What's your go-to prompt that nobody talks about?

What's an AI prompt you wish everyone knew?

I've been experimenting with AI every day for months, testing prompts for writing, coding, business, studying, and productivity.

Some prompts completely changed the way I use ChatGPT, while others that went viral turned out to be disappointing.

I'm curious:

What's the one AI prompt you think everyone should know?

Paste it below.

I'll reply with suggestions on how to make it even better and explain why it works.
