i am calling on this again, while I respect mixed Amharas we need a fair representation of Amharas on our mod. I am not denying your Amhara identity but I have seen you guys lean to your second identity at times which is fine but that means you position as the sole mod of Amhara subreddit is in a question mark.

The linguistic data provides proof that the very root of the word Tigray translates to vassalage. In the Tigre language, the verbal root ተግረ explicitly means "to be a vassal," the noun ትግሬ/ትግራይ(tigray is explicitly mentioned on the source, I underlined it for you) translates directly to "vassal," and the abstract noun ትግሮት signifies "vassalage", definitions that historically apply to the broader socio-political identity across the region, including Tigray.

The word Tigre/Tigretai is ancient word probably 2000 years old and was used as common identifier between Tigre, Tigrayans and Tigrinyas before they split and as per this evidence it means vassals.
