Hazier is a rare Kenku (Ravenfolk) variant known as the Nachtkrapps. These creatures are a lot more feral than their more commonly found counterparts, actually more considered animal than person and are known for their tendency to eat people alive.

Hazier was part of a different pirate crew before he joined the Skylla where he functioned as a scout, despite his natural blindness and a protector for the treasury of the ship. However he was kicked out of the crew for eating a fellow crewmate during a famine on the ship.

He flew around for a long time until coming across the Skylla and just kinda sticking around, fullfilling much the same purposes as he did in his previous crew in addition of taking over the night watches.

Hazier is incapable of forming proper words, but understands most common languages and can mimic people's sentences. Otherwise he communicates via usual bird noises. Like all Nachtkrapps, Hazier is blind due to a lack of eyes and finds his way around with smell and echolocation. He is quite capable in combat, being quite tall and incredibly fast and agile. Furthermore, Hazier usually has to wear a blindfold as looking into a Nachtkrapp's empty eye sockets will result in death.
