Removed Pistol Dot

I don't know if it's because of my astigmatism or what, but after using a dot the last couple of years and a few competitions I have concluded that I'm far more accurate with the irons. I love the concept of a dot for quick target acquisition, but they just don't work for my pistol shooting. Oddly enough I don't seem to struggle with dots on my rifles. 🤷‍♂️

Has anyone else had this experience? Are there ways of using a dot successfully with astigmatism? I've used both red and a green dots.

Took a chance on the Trybe Handguard

These were on sale for $30 so I decided to give it a try. Best case scenario is I like it, and scored a lightweight metal handguard. Worst case scenario I'm out the price of a bougie burger combo meal.

What I like about it so far - it is RIDICULOUS how light this metal is. I swear it weighs about as much as this tab of cardboard from the box it came in. It was also super easy to install. I also like the finish and color of the handguard. We'll see how the finish holds up after some abuse. I'll have an update after a few hundred rounds and some training that I'll respond to this post with.

Outside of this handguard, I don't know much about Trybe. So far so good, though!
