Just a quick little interesting snapshot of online players currently on the new worlds.

Hi all,

I've put together this high-level calculation and would like some insight into anything I might be missing. It appears EK has higher damage output (and therefore exp/h).

I understand this is just a very high-level look at the mechanics behind damage and there are different weightings tied to skill/weapon/base damage (and wheel of destiny modifiers), but should the outcome not lean heavily in favor of the monk having more damage output considering they typically hit less mobs and are arguably harder to play (when kiting)?

I've excluded the reality that the EK weapons are closer to 30% higher in dmg and chained penance damage drops off on subsequent hits.

I'm trying to decide which voc to main as a solo player between the two and I'm struggling to see the benefit of the monk (outside of healing variation, which currently favors the monk but this gap may not be as large after the balancing changes?).

Would love some discussion into anything I might not have considered.
