Budget friendly aquarium light?

Hey everyone so I have might already but there kinda stinky and one isn’t even full spectrum. I’ve found this on Amazon it’s a decent price and the actual light without the supports is 60cm long perfect for both my tanks was wondering if this is reliable and worth the price.

The Kelvin is 6500k
And is full spectrum

How can I make my scape better?

I think the rocks are a problem and are too large and too close to the front. I’ll add Indian almond leaves later on when everything’s settled and when I’m close to putting fish in the tank. I think it also just needs plants to grow and mature and it’ll look good.

Stocking fish I was thinking (30g)

Ember tetras
CPD (celestial petard danios)
Cardinals
Cory Dora’s (bronze/panda)
Chilli rasboras
Harlequin rasboras
Khuli loaches
Red cherry shrimp
And betta fish/female splendid (not sure yet I think too overcrowded for a betta but I’ll see)
- and pea puffers is I decided I want them instead of shrimp.

Where to find Fresh water calcium test kits?

I’ve been searching around for calcium fresh water testing kits to further validate my GH readings.

I know API have a kit but have been told it’s for salt water and the test kit tests for high ppm designed for salt water aquariums and wouldn’t be too accurate in lower concentrations in fresh water.

Wondering if there any of the market that are good/reliable or wether there’s a trick to using the salt water version and tweak it to get a solid reading!

Who are these little monkeys?

I have no idea what these critters are, are they some type of isopod? I don’t wanna kill them or get rid of them I like keeping em as my pets and they do great in my bio active ecosystem.

I’ve tried googling them and nothing has shown up that looks like them and also nothing on reddit. Very curious about who they are.

How can I raise my GH levels and not add more KH or PH?

Hey, so I have tested my levels and come to the conclusion I have a -

GH of 1
KH of 4
PH of 7.4

How can I raise my GH without affecting the PH and KH of the tank and I don’t want them to go any higher I added 1 drop of GH and it didn’t even turn orange it went straight to green, seems concerning

Sticking option is

Ember tetra (yes just 1 and I know they’re a schooling fish)

Neon tetras 10

White tip tetra only 2

2 glass catfish

And sadly I have 2 blue dolphin cichlids and ik this is not there type of water and hate me (I didn’t have any other choice. - they’re both juvenile and aren’t getting bullied and kind of spreads the aggression with the Rosie barbs. Seem to be looking in good condition nice colour in the light and are getting chunky now (good chunky)

And then Rosie barbs 9

Reason why there’s so little schooling fish is because it’ll become over stocked if I add more but I’ll be setting up a 130L/30g cube tank and add some of those fish in there.

Again I’m not sure whether it’s maxed out and so is at 7.4 on the high range or if it’s not maxed out and is reading 7.6…

Me personally think it’s 8. And there’s no fishies besides like 6 shrimpies

I need a second or multiple opinions on what my nitrates are. Me person looking at it would say 20ppm but I could very possibly be wrong…
