How to paint on a tarp banner?
Hi everyone! I’ve been asked to paint a banner that I believe is PVC, feels like a tarp. It already has a printed design on one side and the other side is blank. I’ve been asked to fill it in but have no idea where to start (materials wise). This banner will be up for a few days. My first thought is that the acrylics are okay and it just needs some kind of clear coat on top to withstand the weather and not chip. I’ve never painted on this kind of material before. Doing my own research I’m mostly seeing craft banners and businesses that print large vinyl banners. Any advice on what paints to use and how to ensure it would be weather proof would be greatly appreciated.
