I'm working on a personal project to map out historical lightning data trends and I need the exact locations of lightning strikes going back to the past 10 years. As far as I can see, there is a national lightning detection network in the US that collects and stores this data. I can't figure out how to access the data though. Does anyone have any suggestions?
