For context, 3 of us are pre-med taking our gap years in Westwood to continue research/working etc, one guy is an engineering major, the other is CS. We're extremely courteous roommates and can accommodate for whatever.

Looking for 1 more to fill our apartment. Must be willing to sign lease with us for 11 months.

Location is 527 Midvale luxury apartments

I'm considering taking part in a Phase 1 clinical trial, how risky is it?

Context:

• I'm a healthy 21M

• The trial is testing a drug called ALKS 7290 designed to treat ADHD (affects the brain).

• The trial is in LA, USA and the study is registered on CenExel

• The testing will occur over 14 consecutive days in the hospital overnight.

Although the $12k compensation is very tempting, I don't want to take more than a 1% of long term adverse affects for short term pay. I’m applying for med school and have a lot to lose if something goes wrong neurologically long-term, but from what i’ve heard it’s relatively safe.

P.S. I've never done anything like this before and would really appreciate any insight you can give me <3
