Made a Discord for people living with FND

Hey guys, I hope this is allowed!

I've made a small Discord server for people who just want somewhere to talk to others who get it and share different experiences or even just want to chill out.

You can chat, vent, ask questions, share little wins, talk about appointments, symptoms, pets, random life stuff, or just lurk quietly.

It’s not medical advice or a crisis service, just peer support and a space where you do not have to explain FND from scratch every time.

It’s still new so it will probably be quiet at first, but I’d really like to build a kind, safe little community. Any question thoughts or anything, let me know 💙

fnd-lowkey.com | Site Updates

The response to the site, has blown me away, over 3000 visitors since launch. It turns out a lot of us were waiting for a corner of the internet that doesn’t cause a sensory override.

I've added some new pages to the website, like can you apply for PiP, get a blue badge, some med IDs, some cards to show people if you get stuck and can't speak and some other stuff. Take a read -

Admin Survival: A tactical guide to pacing the absolute nightmare that is UK PIP / Blue Badge and US SSDI / Disabled Placard forms without triggering a massive crash.

The Crisis Kit: Step-by-step setup for phone lock-screen Medical IDs, plus a custom, high-contrast CSS "Calm Card" you can screenshot and show people if you suddenly lose your speech or motor control in a public environment.

Invisible Safety Nets: How to weaponize things like the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Lanyard and "Just Can't Wait" access cards so public staff back off and give you space without you needing to argue.

Digital Sovereignty (Data Scrubbing): A 3-step blueprint to turn down the background digital noise (spam callers, data brokers, tracking algorithms) that acts as a continuous. (Weird I know but I get so much spam and I hate it)

I’ve also completely overhauled the main toolkit directory to separate daily pacing gear from these heavy-duty emergency tools, so you don’t have to hunt for a speech card while you're actively crashing.

I hope this helps at least one person, that's the aim 💙
