I’d like to give a shout out to all the janitors that keep the communal showers and locker rooms clean. They have to pickup all the stuff that is left behind from trash to clothing. They keep the place clean! They unclog toilets and remove all the hair and gunk from the drains. In my opinion they are also underpaid. I also hate to see a gym member berate someone on the housekeeping staff. The next time the janitor is cleaning your communal shower and locker rooms, thank him for a job well done. Lastly, respect the space. It’s communal. Don’t leave the sinks dirty! And take all your stuff with you when you leave! A clean space is a happy space!

Anyone have any embarrassment moments in the communal showers? I have had one! One time the floor was very soapy and my shower shoes had no traction. I slipped and busted my ass in a shower room full of guys! Please share your story! (Let’s not talk about boners or having a small penis. Those topics are well covered in this sub!)

I’m sure many of us regular communal shower users have all seen things that others have left behind. I see lots of bars of soap. I’ve even seen guys use bar soap left behind by strangers. How do you feel about community soap? And, what are some items you’ve seen left behind by other shower users?
