I know this sub loves their real emulation handhelds, but hopefully yall think my creation is at least cool

I work in the display industry and came across this cool see-through OLED screen, and I write my own games on my arduboy, so I decided to make my own with this cool technology I had access to.

Since I was cutting the shell i made the case clear too, so you can see all of the internals.

Im still finishing it, mostly posting here because this crowd knows pocket hardware well. I would love to know your thoughts on what ive been working on here

I made my own fully see-through arduboy

I love my arduboy and I work in the display business, and we created this fully see-through OLED screen, and I wanted to put it into an arduboy of my own as a little passion project.

Since I was cutting the case too i made everything clear, and I think the way you can see the internals is pretty neat. It looks great next to my opaque one.

  • Runs on Arduboy, flash your own over USB-C
  • ATmega32U4
  • 2.42" transparent OLED, 128x64
  • 400 games preloaded
  • ~50g
  • Standalone, D-pad + A/B, no phone or PC

Curious if you guys have ever wanted to get a companion for your arduboy.
