Hey all, just received an AWS DCO L3 night shift offer. The offer includes hourly pay, benefits, 401k match in Amazon stock, and a $3k relocation. No signing bonus or RSUs included. Is it normal to negotiate or ask for a signing bonus at this level? Has anyone had success adding one after receiving their initial offer?

Did my interview for AWS DCO L3 last week and did pretty well and a few days later on Friday I got a call from the recruiter that they liked me and wanted to send out an offer letter. They said that they would try to get it out on Friday but they didn’t.. and then so she said it would probably be Monday.. I’ve heard a lot of things about the Amazon hiring process and how unreliable it is, what are the chances I actually get the offer letter this week? And also if anyone has any insight on what it includes?

I previously did my LONGGG AWS loop interview last week and it had been a few days of nothing but silence, today I got a call from my recruiter that the interviewers loved me and thought I would be a great fit. That being said I got the offer and now the “job” jobs. I would love any and ALLL tips from anyone who has been in this position or something similar because I have never worked a “corporate” or anything near this data center environment so I’m a baby to this. Anything from hard truths to deep advice would be highly appreciated!!!!!
