Current state of this game and future info
First, let’s talk about the good things.
As always, all the male characters have had their moments in the story, although I feel like they were much more relevant during Amphoreus.
One thing that has definitely improved compared to Amphoreus is their meta relevance. They are all good units (their team is like top 2 in the game right now). They have strong kits and good animations, which is a huge improvement compared to Mydei’s kit and Anaxa having three animations 😭.
Another huge positive at least for me, is that they actually have synergy with each other. Unlike Amphoreus where everyone was a dps who wanted to use the same three female characters on their team.
Now, moving on to the concerning part.
According to the latest leaks, five main pushes after his release, Phainon will remain the only male main push. Though it already feels like a tradition for them to release a purple waifu for the anniversary, at this point I’m starting to believe that no male character is ever going to be treated like Phainon again.
The same leaks also mention a sp version of Misha and Dan Heng, so it looks like another year with only one original male character.
