Deciding between Camden west Nashville or encore at Brentwood

Price is comparable, but trying to decide which would best of us since we are from out of state we don’t know which area would be best for us. Any reviews on either would be great.

Moving to Nashville in 3 weeks to start a job at VUMC. It would be me, my fiancee and 1 dog. Im looking at the areas surrounding downtown but want to stay within a 20-30min commute (with traffic). What areas are suggested based on safety and desired commute time? Im looking for a 2 bed under 2200/m.
