I am doing the three day trail in mid-August and I’m not sure which type of shoe to wear. I have hiking shoes (don’t cover the ankles) or I am looking at trail running shoes such as Adidas TERREX AGRAVIC 3, what do you recommend? Any models in specific?

Hey!! I'm going to Peru on august (winter there) I'm researching backpacks and thinking about a 55L backpack but I don't know if it's too small or not. For context I'm going to Peru for 15 days and will do the Inca Trail, but after Peru I'm going to Argentina (will be cold) and there I will spend another 12 days or so. My main preoccupation is that winter clothes such as sweaters take up quite a lot of space. Also I will be bringing 3 pairs of shoes (city, mountain and running cause I'm running a half marathon in Argentina) so I don't know what to do. Also any recs for backpacks is welcome! Thanksss
