Looking to add solar to my 3300 sqft home. Average bill in the summer is $900, lowest in the winter $350.

I was just quoted by sales person at SunRun $500 - $650 a month, to not even own the system.

If I want to own the system, then it would cost $122K to $202K. Seems excessive and not worth the effort, knowing a corporation is double dipping from us adding solar to our home and then they get a kick back from the electric company, in addition to me paying for the system. Is this what solar is now?

Is it worth it?

Or are their better companies out there?
