just landed my first job with a tier 1 main contractor with a 2.2 fresh out of uni

feels so crazy, one interview no 3 round bs, i came in and had a good chat and got the job even with a 2.2 that they are aware of. the OD said he dont even give a fuck about my grade as i displayed good foundational knowlage and eagerness to learn.

plus ive worked one site labouring for a couple years as a teen.

i cant belive i done something with my life man, i used to sleep on floors and eat free school meals now im about to be a QS with a major major company at 22 years old

really weird interview

had a teams call for a graduate role, i got a phone cal from the agency basically telling me that the women who interviewed me felt i was lying and not being my true self.

so we rebooked the interview, it turned into some therapy session, she was asking me a lot about my child hood and my family life and so on, and it got really deep, but it just felt weird like, wtf even is this, is this type of thing normal

employment prospects after graduating with a 2.2

title.

feeling pretty ashamed tbh and kinda lost.

i wont go into detail, but the grade is not 100% reflective of my ability, i had class mates that couldn't even do take off sheets or fill a BOQ get a first.

the degree is RICS accredited from a good uni

should i still try to get my first job, any advice, much appreciated
