I can only imagine that they wanted to end their romantic relationship.

After rereading the latest issue of Teen Titans, that phone call came across to me like someone who was thinking about ending the relationship. Dick didn't seem in love. It feels like they have to write him out of character to force the relationship with Barbara. My impression is that someone on the Bat editorial side wants to keep the relationship from ending.

Comic books have always had one golden rule: no relationship lasts forever. Lately, though, DickBabs seems to be the exception to that rule. They've been together for a long time, and I think it's time for the relationship to end. Personally, I don't enjoy the pairing, and I also dislike seeing toxic behavior from some people in the fandom, such as creating fake screenshots or multiple accounts to stir up conflict. That only makes the community worse. I'd much rather see the relationship come to a natural conclusion than continue the way it has.

A brief rant about DickBabs fans on Twitter.

Hi. As some of you may know me from Twitter as, I was sent screenshots of a few Barbara Gordon and DickBabs fans trying to criticize me over comments I never actually made.

What I said was simple: I'd like to see an Absolute Starfire. At no point did I say Kory should be in Absolute Batman. Those are two completely different statements.

Lately, it feels like some DickBabs fans are closely monitoring any DickKory or Starfire fan who expresses even a slightly different opinion. Yes, many of us love DickKory, but apparently wanting Starfire to receive better treatment from DC is enough for some people to label you as a "whiner."

I've recommended this subreddit to many of my friends who love DickKory but are tired of dealing with attacks from DickBabs fans or more extreme Barbara fans on Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms. Lately, some parts of the fandom seem more reactive than ever.

The three people who still had hope it would be Starfire have every right to laugh at the ones who didn’t believe it, and that includes me,haha. 😂

At this point, part of the comic book community is fed up with feeling ignored by dc. Scott

keeps announcing projects no one asked for, while the requests from the same fans year after year continue to be ignored. I just don’t feel like giving them my money

Personally,I've decided to stop financially supporting

.Some companies reach a point where they no longer deserve our support if all they do is ignore the audience that continues to back them.I'll only spend money or time if I truly believe a project is worthwhile.

The way parts of the fandom have been treated has been disappointing, especially when dc

itself has fueled that frustration for years through its own decisions. If you feel the same way, stop supporting companies that take fans for granted.
