Liberia 🇱🇷 Actual National Animal ??
How come I cant find any offical sources for Liberia national animal, how we supposed to promote our country and patriotism 🥹🤦🏾***😭. Some sources say it’s the Pygmy Hippopotamus and some say it’s the Lion, I wouldn’t be surprised if Liberians in liberia don’t even know either. Honestly I think wildlife is an untapped area within Liberia, sad to think alot of people don’t know the type of animals that exist in their own country, I know I’m ranting but with the way these mining companies, illegal gold mining and destruction of these forests is killing all the wildlife its so sad to think about, people don’t understand the long lasting effects these actions will have😭, imagine even the so called protected forests like the “Sapo National Park” is now being destroyed, lets not even start with Nimba***.
Also did you guys know Liberia has a national bird too its called the pepper bird (Common bulbul)
