Why does it feel like other stage 4 cancers can be “beat” and stage 4 Tnbc cannot? My nurse that did my last pet scan said she had stage 4 lymphoma but after 6 months of chemo she was “cured.” I have heard this about stage 4 colon cancer as well. Even hormone positive breast cancers seem to go through initial iv chemo and then later just have to take hormone blockers. Do we think there will ever be a cure for stage 4 Tnbc? Or at least where we don’t need to be on iv chemo all the time (I am brca and pdl1 negative btw). I am interested in all of these trials that are about immune support like the Tills and TCR trials but wondering if anyone has had success or if they actually work? Frustrated….
