Question about military score
Just a question about how military score is calculated. I have never payed much attention to how the game scores the three different categories until recently. I started my first Prussia campaign and managed to form Germany. My prestige and industry scores tend to respond well to the obvious things like following events, decisions, wars, building/upgrading factories, and encouraging craftsmen. However, my military score is lagging behind. I am 2nd in prestige and industry but 5th/6th in military score even though my army and navy techs are better than others, I have 200 brigades in the 1870s, and an up to date navy with 120 ships. I have to be honest, I’ve only ever used one army composition while playing this game. 6 infantry, 2 cavalry, and 2 artillery. After seeing my lacking military score, I decided to branch out and switch my composition to 8 guards, 8 artillery, 2 hussars, and 2 engineers, thinking it would bolster my military score, but it did not. Keep in mind I have more brigades than anyone but Qing and UK, and better army tech than anyone. I am stuck. What can I do to improve my military score?
