How can i make the rear convertible hatch sit flush with the body?

Whether the top is up or down theres this gap that bothers me, the passenger side sits fine

4+3 problems

Back at it again with another post lol you guys help out so much tho

So 1, the button on my shifter doesnt work so i cant disengage o/d , what causes this and are there any fixes for this?

And 2 it seems only on hot days the car gets stuck permanently in o/d even when i floor it 100% the car stutters around 22-25rpm and it doesnt kick out but i can still go to 80mph+ its just really slow compared to if o/d was off

O/d also sticks in first gear sometimes and i know thats not supposed to happen. Its irritating because i cant drive how i want to when cars not responding like it should

How bad is this??

Panicking atm, i didnt realize i was leaning against a plug and i heard it crack and now its like this? How bad is this?? I just got to car running and im hoping this isnt too detrimental
