First impressions and First time shooting one.

Surprised at the light work.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this is the L6 Stainless model in .50ae, first time shooting it since i got it the other week (had to wait on ammo shipment and nowhere nearby had some for a quick test) and its also my first time shooting a desert eagle or anything of this caliber. .44 magnum was the previous largest cartridge ive fired from a handgun. I put about 100-120 rounds of 325gr fmj through it and it ran almost flawlessly, I did notice if I limp wrist it it will have a malfunction sometimes and I was able to purposely do so repeatedly but having a proper grip it ran flawlessly. Long story short, it was a blast, zero regrets on purchasing and unsurprisingly if you use good ammo, lube it and grip it properly the gun runs perfectly fine, if you handle it like a soyboy it jams. Oh and everyone saying the things are uncontrollable either have motorskill disabilities/damage (cant do much about that) or are total weaklings.

Picked up a L6 in .50AE the other day. One more bucket list gun acquired. My initial thoughts are its far lighter than I was expecting, though the aluminum frame is partially why id assume along with the bit of material difference with the integrated brake. Unfortunately havent had a chance to shoot it yet as im waiting for ammo and mags to ship to my place and nowhere within a 50 mile radius has any in stock (they had .500SW though, which was odd) but ill update this post when I do. The pictures I see online do not do the stainless justice, this two-tone look is sick. Also, here's a size comparison to my 10mm Rock DS1911 for those who dont have a reference.

Anything else i should know or note?

Picking up an L6 .50AE here in a month or two and was curious of what little quirks or features I should be mindful of.

Im very well aware of the size, weight, recoil, ammo cost, dont limp wrist it, dont use exposed lead rounds to prevent gas port clogs, ejection pattern hates you, etc. Anything else im missing or need to keep in mind?

Absolutely buying it because its cool, I want one, I have the disposable income for it now and because I want one.

Any RATL-R tips anyone has figured out?

Long story short, picked up a RATL-R from Duality as the general consensus is they work better on average vs the clones, used the 3 position printed cam and got everything installed and working with dry fire. Went to the range and did have a couple issues. Semi-auto will still frt and frt will frt. Im aware there is a sweet spot and correct pressure to get reliable frt and i know there is a break in period, that's fine, but the loss of semi-auto is concerning. Has anyone figured out surefire reliable fixes to get everything to run smoothly and reliably?

I have a 10mm gen 2.1 CRB.

Build idea feasibility

I bought a gen 2.1 CRB awhile back with the eventual idea to shorten the barrel and sbr it later on down the line. The idea was to keep the barrel shroud but cut and thread the barrel, attach a suppressor and place the shroud over top of the whole system to keep the same look while also suppressing it. Wondering if anyone else has had the idea and did it, whether or not it would work, and if someone has, how does it look/work?
