What the fuck

What the fuck

Note: the original poster and subreddit (for the most part there were some asshats trying to justify both sides) was mocking said image but the fact someone out there actually generated this is pretty fucked…

I want to apologize (plus list of alternatives to HP)

Yesterday (at the time of posting this), I made a post regarding what everyone thought of the recent teaser for the new show, I made it out of good faith and to see if other people thought it was as bad as they thought given this is show is a hot button for obvious reasons, I did not mean to promote or encourage people to view the trailer and I realize that it was wrong, I am a ally and care about trans people deeply and I did not mean to be selfish or anything like that. I now realize it doesn’t matter if I viewed in incognito or something it still was given it attention and we shouldn’t give it attention, it doesn’t matter if it was bad attention (also sometimes I get stuck in bad attention will get them to stop making it or something mindset) as it was likely what TERF Queen wanted or expected. So I am sorry for that post and I didn’t mean to set off anyone, I have since taken down the post and I am trying to apologize for it. (Sorry if this seems rushed or sloppy I am genuine I just didn’t know how to word it correctly)

Also I am copy and pasting a comment I made for other media or shows that people can watch instead of TERF Queen’s spiteful petty passion project. I mainly made this to apologize but in return I will also list alternatives.

Here is a list of other films, shows, books, or media that can fulfill your magical itch:

- Practical Magic 2 (Never saw the first one but it seems alright if you liked the first one)
- If you like animated films especially Disney then Hexed (Original Disney animated film about a witch who discovers a new world, stars Hallie Steinfield and Walton Goggins, and comes out in November)
- If you like Marvel then Avengers: Doomsday (Likely has witches in it given its Doctor Doom, plus there’s other magical things in it, plus I like Marvel way more than anything in Harry Potter, comes out in December) also there’s Marvel shows that I mention in coming section.
- Again if you like animated films, Forgotten Island (A Dreamworks animated film that comes out in September, not about witches or Wizards but it’s about a magical Island of some sorts)
- Wildwood (idk if this has Magic I think so, but it’s made by Laika of Caroline fame (also they made Paranorman and Kubo), and it comes out in October)
- Percy Jackson and the Olympians show I heard was good, I also hear/know shows like WandaVision, Agatha All Along, or Loki are good if you’re into Marvel. Oh and there’s VisionQuest coming out in October if you like any of these Marvel shows I mention.
- Wednesday on Netflix is a great show that is about a semi-magical school and Addams Family, with a story revolving around Wednesday Addams solving a mystery each season for both her school and a nearby town. It stars Jenna Ortega and more, it’s a great show.
- Plus a few others I’m probably forgetting
- You can also watch shows like Owl House or My Witch Academia again
- I don’t know a whole lot about games side so I can’t comment on that (but anything is better than Hogwarts Legacy that’s for sure)
- For the readers there’s Arcane Ascension by Andrew Rowe (suggested by u/video-kid), Queen of Faces (suggested by u/vetravee), The Worst Witch (suggested by u/TagierBawbagier) Witch Hat Atelier Manga and Wizard’s Hall by Jane Yolen (suggested by u/thursday-T-time), Discworld, Equal Rites, and Unseen Academicals (suggested by u/L-Space_Orangutan) and I’m sure many more (okay I’m gonna stop editing this section but read the comments if you want to know more suggestions for books or literature)
- If you happened to own the HP DVDs or Blu-Rays before you found out about JK and anti-trans crusade, just watch those again as at least those were at least made with passion and not spiteful pettiness like the remake.
- Not everyone is going to like all of these and that’s fine I’m almost trying to find something that I think everyone (or most) will like and will get them away from Potter and funding JK Rowling’s anti-trans tyranny.

I have nothing else um feel free to add film, show, book, or games if you like, but the apology was the main reason for this post.

Anything but the new Harry Potter show, these will likely give you the same feeling, fulfill, and scratch a magical itch without having to support a bigot and her equally bigoted friends.
