Tips/Tricks for South Africa 🇿🇦
Hello all!
I am off to South Africa this September to visit family. I have been before but want to be a bit more prepared this time.
I'm aware of frys, and luckily found supermarkets to be quite good for vegans. Any other brands to keep an eye out for?
My main concern is all the random E-numbers in everything! Please can people advise what I'm most likely to come across and what to avoid? (I have looked up non vegan e numbers but not found anything SA specific)
I'll be staying in Kloof, South of Durban in Port Shepstone and also in the Champagne Valley. If anyone knows any specific restaurants or places to go for vegan food would be great.
Also if anyone knows of any animal related activities that are ethical/vegan friendly would be appreciated
