Most underrated role
What role might be one of the most underrated roles of Akshaye? For me, it's Vicky Malhotra from Naqaab, he doesn't get enough recognition for that film and isn't talked about much

This is a personal anecdote. Akshaye has always been an introverted sorta person whose father was absent in his life for quite some time. I relate with that. I have always been an introvert and open up with people only when I'm comfortable with them. Even though my dad was physically present, he couldn't show love emotionally.
Akshaye has been brilliant since his early acting days, but for some reason most of his films couldn't be a blockbuster. Kinda similar to me, I was an academically strong kid but despite all that I kinda failed to bloom after school.
That phase of Akshaye between 2012-2015 roughly before Dishoom is what I relate with the most. He went underground for the demons he fought alone. I am in that stage of my life where I wanna do that too but unfortunately I'm in the university and almost at the verge of the final countdown with placements within a year or two.
I've never really related to another human being like I do with Akshaye. Despite being popular, I hated the attention I got, again just like him, which is one of the reasons why he isn't on social media.
He is finally getting the fame he deserves, the love he should've received long ago. It feels good to see him rise and shine, not only as a diehard fan but also as someone who is fighting demons just like he always did. On days when I feel like giving up, I read about him or watch his movies, it gives me some strength back.
P.S. The only thing of Akshaye that I don't relate to is smoking 🤣 I mean that's again his choice
Do y'all also relate to him in one way or the other? Let's talk about it ❤️
If God had a face, it would look like his
Everything he does is so freaking cool
Different characters, same names
Tarun Ahlawat/Tarun Saluja
Karan Kapoor/Karan Malhotra
Gaurav Kaul/Gaurav Rane
Raj Goyal/Raj Ambani
I understand that both the movie script and the negative nature of Shauryaman have taken a toll on many of us, and we are not thinking rationally. You know why Akshaye anticipated 'This too shall pass' after being told about the Dhurandhar success? The division of opinions about Shauryaman. I am stating my point of view here, and anyone can contradict it, but what he expected was to see his character only as a character and not blatantly hate him for his choice of roles. He wanted to explore a morally black character; he did it. It's what any diverse actor of his talent would try to explore. That's what I wanted to say: absolutely hate the character but not the choice of his role. Any movie, or rather any form of art, can have a negative impact on its audiences, and that is why this is such a subjective matter to talk about. All I wanna say is support Akshaye and his movie endeavours; that's all.
It's set to release on 31st August?! Highly doubt it's authenticity tho
I cannot be the only one who thinks this shot is pure magic. Bro he looks like a wet dream.
Yeh lo mere fav two hoomans
Yeh lo Tarun Saluja ki shoulders dekho sab log
>!If seen superficially, he was a straightaway jerk, and he was. But I wanted to shed some light on his relationship with Avantika (Dia's character). So the thing is, he still loved her, which led to all that chaos. He had some tiny bit of affection towards his biological daughter. Even if, in hindsight, it may appear he used her as a pawn to get out of the case, but in that particular interaction, he seemed like he was...kinda possessive of Samaira? Or maybe it was just to spite Arjun Mehra. His love for his ex gf made him voluntarily behave violently with Gauri, and he found solace for a brief moment with a random girl whom he murdered because he couldn't control his emotions. Also, why was he disbarred? Is it just because he made his gf pregnant and the mighty Arjun couldn't take it because he was in love with her too? Of course, it isn't clear. What do you guys think about Shauryaman's dynamics with the three members of the Mehra family?!<
>!Edit: Yeah I believe now that beating up Gauri was a made-up thing, but other opinions about his past relationship are welcome.!<
At first I was skeptical about Variety India's review of Ikka but after watching the movie, they're right except for Akshaye Khanna. Well I do not see how he had his 'Rehman Dakait' energy. He didn't and it was sinister in it's own way. The storyline was dragged too slow. Apart from his wide range of emotions like rage, crocodile tears and manipulation, I didn't find anything noteworthy in the movie. It simply glorified the Ikka, a.k.a Arjun Mehra. Also loved Tillotama's character Mathura.
You know how good Akshaye acted when everyone is hating the character.
P.S. Shauryaman's ex girlfriend has my name, just one letter changed 😝 it felt nice when he called her name 🤤✌️
Guys does anyone have any info as to when Ikka will be launched on Netflix? Like in the afternoon or something, or any specific timing?
I just completed watching all his movies recently and being someone who can draw good enough portraits of people, I'll draw several of Akshaye's. But I really wanna mail him one as a gift and a letter perhaps with that, thanking and appreciating him for his genius craft in movies. And I expect he'll send an autograph back at least. So can reddit detectives find out his mail address which is legit? I really wanna tell him how his fans adore him 😔❤️
