Hi, folks-I have a 2023 ID.4 Pro S AWD and am hoping to g to disable the welcome screen. I bought the OBD dongle from DFirst and purchased credits to remove the screen, but I keep getting this error. My hood was open the whole time. Any suggestions from folks who have successfully said goodbye to the welcome screen?
I’m three months into ownership (2022 Pro S AWD, CPO), and I am loving this car. On this subreddit, it appears that the vehicle gets…um, mixed reviews. Here’s hoping I don’t experience some of the problems others have had, and that the software updates in the future keep us all from having to “OK” our identities every time we start the car.
This message is specifically about the FMS*, which doesn’t seem to get a lot of love on this thread. Despite feelings about the car, can we all agree that this marvelous system manages the air around us (and our passengers) is a most discreet, thoughtful manner? No matter where you’ve been for dinner, you can erase any vestiges of the experience with just one button. Nice work, VW!
