[She's a Vampire!] it starts with texting...

genre: romance

statue: 76 chapters, completed

A cute romance story about a pathetic, awkward male lead and an adorable vampire girl.

I should warn again that the ML is quite pathetic (especially from today's perspective), but that kind of male lead was much more common in older romance webtoons from the 2000s to early 2010s. Compared to some others from that era, I'd say he is... alright.

Anyway, its a decent read.

[cliche club] a world full of cliche

genre: drama

statue: 50 chapters, completed

In a world where everyone is born with a cliche of their own, the protagonist, Seona, is stuck with a romance cliché. She absolutely hates romance and just wants to focus on her studies, but inevitably gets entangled with a regressed shonen-protagonist type and a character saddled with a villain cliche.

fun read. a lot of manga paradies too.

[My Secret Brother] Sweet home Alabama

genre: comedy, romance (including straight, BL, GL, incest, adultry)

statue: 210 chapters, completed

A romance webtoon about a girl who lies about dating her older brother (well, they are cousins but portrayed more as siblings, and students dont know they are related) in order to get the attention of a boy she fell for at first sight.

As you can probably tell from the tags, it is a romance series, but one that includes elements like BL, GL, and incest. The work itself is essentially an exploration and dissection of love across different kinds of relationships, and it brings in these various forms of love to support that theme. I must say It handles them quite well.

So i guess the best way to enjoy this series is to focus on how the relationships between the different characters are redefined and reconstructed over time.

Anyway, its a fun read

[Become a Tomato!] Delinquent couple

genre: romance

statue: 134 chapters, completed

A school romance story centered on Shin Yi-seok, a girl from a countryside who is often misunderstood because of her delinquent-looking appearance.

It is under quite classic shoujo setup of 2 boys and 1 girl, but as the story progresses, it turns out to be surprisingly straightforward (kinda reflects her character i guess).

decent read.

[Low-orbit Human] best manhwa getting a translation

genre: drama

A story about Joo Jae-yeol, a 39year old adjunct lecturer and unknown writer who lives lamenting how his life has never quite gotten on track (orbit). One day, a junior writer he deeply cared about dies, and Jae-yeol happens to come into possession of that junior’s manuscript.

The raws recently wrapped up s1 at 42 chapters, while the translation seems to have only covered the prologue so far. Even so, I was honestly surprised to see that this is being translated at all.... because this is one of the best webtoons currently running, and arguably 'the' best work right now (there are few more contenders tho).

so yeah. dont sleep on this one buds.

Great webtoon by Botong Kim.

[Necromancer] how to bring the dead back to life

genre: fantasy, action

Statue: 61 chapters, completed

There, Mol, a grown adult with an unusually small frame, happens upon Eric, collapsed and unconscious. Over time, Mol realizes that he possesses the power to bring the dead back to life.

This is the story of Eric, who seeks to climb to the world above and exact his revenge, and Mol, who wants to escape the garbage dump.

its a decent read, written by the Hongjakga, the author of 'delusion'.

[Eating me is not allowed!] how to open up wolf's heart

genre: romance

Statue: 130 chapters, completed

Haesul and Miru have been childhood friends for ten years. Haesul is known for having a terrible personality, but he is kind only to Miru. Miru, on the other hand, is gentle, kind to everyone, and almost naively good-hearted. The story begins when Miru discovers Haesul’s secret.

It’s a romance webtoon with a fairly simple setup, but a warm and comforting tone. You know, theme of kindness, friendship, wolf wanting Miru's heart and Miru winning his heart through kindness and such.

Decent read.

However, some refuse to let humanity end that way. By exploiting the lives of those still alive and using the remaining resources, they launch the Dawn Project, a plan to send one perfect man and one perfect woman into the future, after the volcanic ash has finally cleared.

genre : comedy

104 chapters in raw, ongoing

A chaotic adventure story about a slightly unhinged hero party, packed with plenty of lewd jokes.

Fun fact: the series was much more explicit back when it was still being serialized as an amateur work.

genre: apocalypse, horror, drama, mystery

A story about a young child living in a circus.

At first glance, everything seems bright and cheerful, but the world outside feels drastically different from the one we know. What happened to this world, and what exactly is going on with the circus troupe?

I usually avoid posting about works that haven’t been translated, but I still wanted to bring this one up. It’s only 22 chapters long, and despite having wrapped up just recently, it’s far too good to ignore just because there’s no translation yet.

Also, in cases like this, once the series becomes paid content, there’s a real chance that a translation may never appear at all. So if there’s anyone here who can read the original, I strongly recommend checking it out while you can.

Again, I mean this without exaggeration. This was easily one of the best webtoons I’ve read in the past few months.

genre: comedy, reincarnation

Hui-won is an ordinary high school student in Korea. But his normal life is turned upside down when So-hee, a beautiful transfer student, reveals that he was once Union, a hero from another world. And soon, Hui-won also learns the truth about So-hee’s own identity — a truth he never wanted to know.

With both the hero’s party and the Demon King’s forces now gathered in Korea, can they survive the chaos that follows?

This is a new work from the author or 'teenage dragon', and the official translation just came up few days ago. Pretty fun read.
