HI everyone,
I noticed some rotational play/wobble on my Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM when mounted on my camera.
When I twist it gently back and forth, there is a distinct metal click sound and a tiny bit of movement (as shown in the video).
Here is what's making me anxious:
• My 16-35mm and 24-70mm lenses fit completely flush and don't move at all.
• I also tested a 70-200mm f/4 G and it has absolutely zero play.
The camera doesn't lose electronic connection (no "F--" error, AF works fine during the movement), but this click on a lens this expensive is worrying me.
Is this normal tolerance for the heavier 2.8 GM lens due to its weight/length, or should I send it to Sony for service?
