Profession Skill System (Gathering, Crafting & Exploration)
I am working on a horizontal progression proposal that expands Tibia with meaningful activities outside of combat, offering players an alternative way to progress and interact with the world.
The goal is not to replace hunting, but to create another progression path alongside it.
Tibia's progression has always been built around vertical progression: optimizing hunts, maximizing experience per hour, and pushing toward the next level. While this is an important part of the game, the world itself has much more potential.
This proposal aims to give players new reasons to explore, gather, craft, discover, and specialize. Whether you have 30 minutes to play, want a break from grinding, or simply prefer a different playstyle, there will be meaningful progression available.
The Profession Skill System includes:
Gathering, Crafting & Exploration Skills
- Fishing (rework)
- Mining
- Woodcutting
- Herbalism
- Blacksmithing
- Alchemy
- Cooking
- Sailing (W.I.P.)
- Archaeology (W.I.P.)
- Taming (W.I.P.)
The system focuses on:
- Offering a second path of character progression outside of hunting.
- Long-term profession development and specialization.
- Character experience from profession activities.
- Profession Tasks (Daily, Weekly, Monthly).
- Profession Tokens and rewards.
- Profession Hubs and NPCs around the world
- Exploration, discovery, and a stronger player-driven economy.
The vision is simple: expand Tibia with more meaningful ways to play, while preserving the hunting and PvP identity that makes Tibia unique.
If you support this proposal, please take a few seconds and sign it.
