MSP 1 username has special characters and can't login
I feel like after adobe flash was discontinued and they released the client it screwed over my legacy account which was created in 2014. I had no issues ever logging in with the account on the browser version in 2020.
Of course since my account was created in 2014 any receipts I have are very likely long gone since Yahoo purges emails without warning, and I can't expect my grandfather to remember his card information from 10+ years ago, nor would the bank even still have those statements. Password reset doesn't work either even though I know what email would be registered to the account.
My question is, has anyone else had this issue? My username is A//ison and I want the account back for the nostalgia, but I know MSP support is awful. I feel like it's unfair that I could access this account without issue before flash support ended, and was given no warning I'd lose access if I had special characters in the name. I have literally tried every single password from the last 10 years that I had used on any platform, game, etc.
